Corrections Policy
Last updated: September 12, 2026
Content on DecoFever is researched and written carefully, but mistakes happen — a product gets discontinued, a spec turns out to be wrong, or a link breaks. Here's how we handle it when that's reported.
What Counts as a Correction
- A factual error in a product's stated features, specifications, or category.
- A broken or misdirected affiliate link.
- A product that's been discontinued or is no longer sold by the linked merchant.
- An outdated claim that no longer reflects the current listing (for example, a feature that's been removed from a newer product revision).
- Typos, broken formatting, or other clarity issues.
How to Report Something
Contact us with the page URL and a description of what looks wrong. We review every report — we can't promise a specific turnaround time, but factual errors and broken links are prioritized over stylistic feedback.
How We Correct Things
Minor fixes (typos, broken links, small factual updates) are corrected directly without a separate note. Material corrections — where a product recommendation, spec, or key claim changes substantively — update the page's “last checked” or “last updated” date so it's clear the content was revisited.
What We Won't Do
We won't change an editorial recommendation because a brand or seller asks us to — only because the underlying facts changed or were wrong. Removal or correction requests tied to a product simply being discontinued, out of stock, or superseded are handled the same way: update or remove the affected content, not silently redirect it to a paid alternative.
