Editorial Policy

Our Standard
Every product, guide, and article on DecoFever is meant to have a genuine reason to exist — a real question it answers or a real decision it helps you make. We don't publish pages just to fill out a category, and we don't reword the same content with different product names to create the appearance of more coverage.
Editorial Independence
Product selection and the opinions in our guides are never bought, swapped, or influenced by a brand, merchant, or advertiser. We earn money when readers click through to Amazon and make a purchase (see How We Make Money), but that relationship never determines which products get recommended or how they're described.
How We Select Products
Products are chosen from real, publicly listed Amazon products based on their stated features, materials, and specifications as described in the listing — not from paid placement or sponsorship. Full detail on this process is in our Review Methodology.
What We Don't Do
- We don't fabricate specifications, customer quotes, ratings, or review counts.
- We don't claim hands-on testing we haven't done — our review labels say so explicitly.
- We don't display live Amazon pricing, availability, or ratings unless sourced through a method Amazon permits.
- We don't publish thin pages just to hit a page count.
Keeping Content Current
Product and guide pages carry a “last checked” date. Content isn't re-verified on a fixed schedule, but outdated or inaccurate information is corrected as soon as we're aware of it — see our Corrections Policy.
