Govee RGBIC Floor Lamp Basic, 1000lm LED Corner Lamp, Black, Compatible with Alexa and Matter, Music Sync and 16 Million DIY Colors
Govee's RGBIC corner floor lamp is a smart-lighting play more than a traditional floor lamp: it's built to sync with music, change color on command, and slot into an Alexa or Matter smart home setup rather than just light a reading corner.

Specifications
Pros
- 16 million color options
- Works with Alexa and Matter
- Music sync mode
- Modern corner-lamp silhouette
Cons
- Full smart functionality (color scenes, music sync, Alexa/Matter control) requires setup through the Govee Home app, not just plugging it in
- The corner-lamp shape is designed for a specific placement and won't suit every room layout
- 1000 lumens is good ambient/accent light but isn't a substitute for a bright task or reading lamp
Best For
Anyone who wants an easy ambient-lighting upgrade for a living room, gaming setup, or bedroom corner — especially if they already use Alexa or another Matter-compatible smart home hub.
Consider Skipping If
Anyone who wants a purely functional, bright task lamp rather than a color-changing accent light, or who'd rather not deal with app pairing at all.
FAQ
Do I need the Govee app to use it?
The included remote handles basic on/off and preset colors, but full color customization, music sync, and Alexa/Matter integration are set up through the Govee Home app.
Can it be controlled with Alexa?
Yes — the listing states Alexa and Matter compatibility, so it can be added into existing smart home routines and voice commands.
